Last night, as I was lying down to sleep, an idea came to me. If amazon.com made a deal with Good Will of some company like that, they could have a win-win-win-win situation. Here's my idea: people who donate their paperback books, get credits toward electronic books for their Kindle. The homeless will have access to literature at discount prices, Good Will will make some money off the books, the donator gets ebooks and amazon.com gets people buying Kindles and shopping at amazon.com.

I Couldn't Wait!
I decided to publish 'The Greater Number' at amazon.com for Kindle even though the jury is still out on whether or not Sinister Press will be publishing it. I couldn't wait anymore! Besides, I could be making money off it now instead of waiting for however long it would take to turn it into a paperback. I figure, people who want it on Kindle can buy it now and people who want it on paper can buy it later. That's the cool thing about publishing for Kindle, you retain the rights to the work so I can publish with Sinister Press without any legal problems. Now the time has come to promote this new book!

The Nocent on Kindle!
I figured since 'The Greater Number' is under consideration for publication by Sinister Press, I should put my first book out some other way. What better way than Kindle Self Publishing? It's not live yet, but soon you will be able to buy it for only $2.99 for your Kindle on amazon.com! I also lowered the price for it on lulu.com. The paperback version is around 9 dollars and the electronic version is around 2 dollars.

Sinister Press
More and more publishing companies are following my tweets lately. That's so cool! Oh yeah, and my mother-in-law sent us a Kindle that she had somehow won or however, gotten for free. I jumped on amazon.com and bought Apocalypse of the Dead by Joe McKinney. I think I'm gonna look up my wish list from Book Mooch and see what I can get onto my Kindle since so much of what I want isn't available on Book Mooch. Amazon.com has some good prices too, which is good.
Wait a second, I was talking about publishing companies. I just started having my tweets followed by a company called Sinister Press. They had a section of their website about submissions. I wrote a quick summary of the Nocent and submitted it for their consideration. Also, once I'm done putting out the Greater Number, I'll submit that for their consideration as well. Couldn't hurt. Boy, it's just a matter of time before one of these publishing companies thinks I'm good enough, I'm smart enough and doggone it, people like me. I will know that you, my loyal and dedicated readers have been with me from the beginning through thick and thing. Thank you for believing in me and standing by me while I'm still just a starving artist trying to get noticed in the dog-eat-dog publishing world.

Following My Tweets!
Recently, some interesting people have started following my tweets. Two different publishing companies are among them. I'll be looking into both of them to see if I can finally get published. One of them publishes online stories. It would make my stories available for Kindle, etc. A promoter or agent or someone like that is following as well. I don't know if she'd be interested in promoting our music or my books or what.
I added a new link to the website of an author called Jonathan Maberry. I thoroughly enjoyed his book, Zombie CSU. In there I found a website called All Things Zombie. I'll be checking out that website too. They have a section where you can submit original fiction for inclusion on the website. I'll definitely be submitting some of my stories there. I'll add a link to that website soon.
