On the Oprah Winfrey show yesterday, there was a dude that started a website called giveback.org. On it, you can start an organization to raise money for a charity of your choice. Soon, you will also be able to start a charity of your own. On the website you can put in contributions to your organization and you can also have money put in by shopping online at any of several sites listed in the website's links. You can shop for everything from baby clothes to zombie books and electronics.
My wife and I plan to start our own charity to help us get to India to volunteer our services to help the Tibetan refugees. We could add money to our cause by shopping at borders.com, priceline.com, itunes.com, Best Buy, Target. We were disappointed that amazon.com was not on there.
